Jassie Gill is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film, Panga, directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. He was nervous while working with Kangana Ranaut. Jassie said, “ I was nervous when I come to know that I would be working with Kangana Ranaut in Panga… I was like will I be able to perform in front of Kangana? But then she made me comfortable and gave me confidence. It was an interesting experience. I was comfortable working with her. The starting 2-3 days were difficult. But once I am in front of the camera I am on…” He added, “I also learned so many nuances of acting while watching her act.”
Jassie started his career in Bollywood with Aanand L Rai’s film Happy Phirr Bhaag Jayegi. He has been a prominent name in the Punjabi music industry. The musician cum actor further spoke, “Panga is directed by female director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari aur poori team me females zyada hai. Hum Punjabi munde ladkiyon se thoda sharmaate hain. But Kangana and Ashwiny made me comfortable. It was wonderful working with the team.” Jassie revealed that he has another Bollywood project in the pipeline. But he would be focusing mostly on music. He also added that he would keep doing Punjabi films.
Panga also stars Richa Chadha and Neena Gupta. The movie is slated to release on January 25, 2020.
