Ajay Devgn had a splendid start to 2020 as his last film Tanhaji:The Unsung Warrior went on to score big at the box-office. Although the film received mixed reviews from critics, it managed to click with the audience which is evident in the box-office numbers. Now, the actor took to social media and announced his next project, which will be the remake of Tamil film Kaithi.
Ajay made the official announcement on social media sharing a tweet that read, “Yes, I’m doing the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Kaithi. Releases on February 12, 2021.”

Kaithi is a film that revolves around a convict who’s recently let out of jail and is on a mission to find his daughter, who he’s never met before. Through his journey, he faces several obstacles like the police and drug lords. Kaithi starred Karthi in the lead.
On the work front, Ajay will next be seen in in a sports drama helmed by Amit Sharma titled Maidaan. He will portray the role of India’s legendary football coach Syed Abdul Rahim. The film is slated to release on November 27 this year.
