Alia Bhatt is one of the most adored actresses in the industry. The actress recently took to her Instagram to share the first look of her next, Gangubai Kathiawadi. The film will be her first collaboration with ace director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Reportedly, based on Hussain Zaidi’s book, Mafia Queens Of Mumbai, the film revolves around the life of Ganuabai Kathiawadi, who was a brothel owner and a matriarch.
The Raazi actress shared a picture with her pet cat on her Instagram story yesterday which read, “”Selfie time with mommy cause she’s hurt her back and has nothing better to do at 2am. Eddie and mommy (2020).” Post which speculations that the actor had hurt herself on the sets of the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial started doing the rounds on the internet.
Alia however came forward to refute the rumours and posted a clarification on her Instagram story to put an end to the false news. She wrote, “To all those articles out there saying that I have hurt myself on the set of my film, they are not true. This is an old injury that has been acting up for a while… No accident or nothing. Please do clarify next time before printing long articles on what happened to me. Having said that thanks to a few days of complete rest and being horizontal, I am back in action and I am resuming shooting today. Thank you all for all the get well soon messages as I have got well very soon.
