Amitabh Bachchan has proven time and again that he is unbeatable in every domain there is. After his domination of the silver screen for several years, he now has earned the title of the highest taxpayer in the Hindi Film Industry. For the financial year of 2018-19, Amitabh’s tax payment amounted to a whopping Rs. 70 crore.
His spokesperson confirmed the news and stated, “Yes, Mr Bachchan has paid 70 crore tax for the financial year 2018-19.” The actor also paid off the loans of 2084 farmers from Muzaffarpur in Bihar. Reports suggest that he wanted help the farmers of the country by ensuring them as much freedom of money as he can provide and therefore, he decided to pay off their loans. Amitabh was also one of the first actors when it came to donating to the families of the Pulwama Attack martyrs. Amitabh Bachchan reportedly donated Rs 10 lakh each to the families.
Amitabh was last seen in the murder mystery Badla directed by Sujoy Ghosh. In Badla, the actor was seen alongside his Pink co-star Taapsee Pannu and Amrita Singh. Big B is now gearing up for Brahmastra, which is a fantasy drama based on the mythological weapon – Brahmastra.
