If there is one film that the Indian film industry cannot ignore, it’s Arjun Reddy. The film took the South industry by storm and earned a lot despite its alleged misogynistic stance. Similarly, when it was remade in Hindi last year with Shahid Kapoor, it broke big box-office records.
Arjun Reddy introduced the dashing star, Vijay Devarakonda, to the nation. His dapper looks and charm makes him super popular. Now Karan Johar has given us some good news as he’s soon going to launch him in Hindi films. Few months back when Vijay Devarakonda’s film, Dear Comrade, released down South, KJo announced that he had officially acquired the rights for its remake. The critically acclaimed film is yet again a film where Vijay shines. Yesterday, Karan announced that Dharma Productions is all set to launch the South superstar in a lead role. It also revealed that Baahubali fame, Ramya Krishnan, and Ronit Roy will also be seen in the film.
Ronit revealed that the film is titled Fighter and it involves martial arts. It will be shot in Mumbai in the next six months. Vijay has undergone extensive training to look his part in the film and followed a strict diet. Well, we are super stoked for this one, aren’t you?
