Kajol is all set to make her digital debut with the film Tribhanga which will release on an OTT platform. The actress got talking to a leading daily about her character in this strong film and how it is just an extension of her real life persona in the movie. While drawing similarities between her character and herself, the actress got talking about how she took her own life decisions.
In the interview while speaking about her life-choices, she started narrating the story to the leading daily about the most important step in her life which was marriage. The actress shared that her marriage at 24 with actor Ajay Devgn was not supported by her dad, “My father (Shomu Mukherjee) was against me getting married at 24. He said that I should work more before I tie the knot. My mom (Tanuja) was my biggest supporter, and told me to go with my gut. I have been lucky that everybody around has always stood up for me. So, I did exactly what I wanted to do. I didn’t have to face patriarchy. Or maybe I faced it without realising, because I can be oblivious in some situations.”
She further said that her mother made her independent and her daughter Nysa is independent too just the way she is. Well, Kajol who’s known never to mince her words, always speaks her mind and we love her for her candidness. She will be seen in Tribhanga alongside Tanvi Azmi and Mithila Palkar and the film’s teaser has got a great response.
