Katrina Kaif and Ali Abbas Zafar’s strong friendship is known to one and all. The director is extremely close to the superstar and has even worked with her in several projects. If latest reports are to be believed then Katrina and Ali will soon be collaborating on a project. Apparently, a superhero film is being planned on a big scale. The agile Katrina will be part of it. A source told an entertainment portal, “The film is being planned on a lavish scale and mounted on a grand canvas. They want to establish it into a franchise and for the first part starring Katrina, they are looking at making it at a whopping budget of Rs 90 crore.”
Ali was working on Mr. India’s remake before this. But due to the controversy around the remake, the makers and decided to drop the idea and move on to another project. A source told the portal, “They never expected such a hue and cry over the Mr. India franchise. After Mr. India’s director, Shekhar Kapur, decided to sue them, Zee Studios and Ali Abbas Zafar dropped Mr. India and decided to do something else.” The project with Katrina seems interesting.
