Thanks to Rohit Shetty’s close friendship with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, one of the biggest box-office clashes has been avoided now. Rohit’s next film, Sooryavanshi, starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, was earlier scheduled to release on the same date as of Salman Khan’s Inshaallah, on Eid 2020. But today, Salman Khan’s tweet has put an end to this box-office clash. The actor announced the new release date of Sooryavanshi with a heartwarming quote saying, “I always thought of him as my younger brother and today he proves it…@itsrohitshetty Sooryavanshi releasing âªon 27th March, 2020”
Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi is a much-awaited cop drama and the next part of his blockbuster franchise Singham. Along with Akshay and Katrina, the action film also has Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh in guest appearances. And Inshaallah is bringing back the Salman and SLB jodi together after a long time. During the promotions of Bharat, Salman had said about reuniting with SLB, “Inshallah, Inshaallah will start soon. It will be fun and there will be lots of fights because Sanjay and me have that bond.”
Inshallah stars Alia Bhatt opposite Salma Khan in the lead.
