New Jersey rock band Screaming Females have announced a new collection of early 7″s, digital B-sides, covers, and other rarities. It’s called Singles Too and it’s out October 18 (via Don Giovanni). Digital and CD versions of the collection will feature an additional six cover songs, including the group’s takes on music by Neil Young, Taylor Swift, Sheryl Crow, and Patti Smith. The vinyl version of Singles Too will be a one-time pressing limited to 1,500 copies. Check out Screaming Females’ infomercial for the compilation, as well as the previously unheard “Let Me In” and the album art, below.
Screaming Females singer and guitarist Marissa Paternoster said in a press release, “On the first single we ever put out, there were mistakes that I made playing guitar that make me want to crawl into a hole and die. At the time I didn’t know I was allowed to say, ‘Can I do that again and correct it?’ I was 19, giving it my all.”
Screaming Females’ most recent studio LP was 2018’s All at Once.
