Shah Rukh Khan is popularly addressed as the King of Bollywood and rightly so considering his body of work The actor has been part of several blockbusters and will always be remembered as one of the biggest stars in the history of Indian cinema. However, many might not be aware of the fact that Shah Rukh Khan turned down Danny Boyle’s Oscar winning Slumdog Millionaire.
Eventually, the role was essayed by Anil Kapoor and it earned him a lot of appreciation. When SRK was asked about why he turned down the part, he said, “I was very keen that the film be made, because I think that it’s a very interesting topic but I didn’t do it because the host is a little bit of a cheat, and he was a little mean, and I’d already done the show so I felt if I do it people will feel I do the same thing. It was a great film.”
Looks like SRK was a little too loyal to the fans of Kaun Banega Crorepati and didn’t want to disappoint them by showing the show or the host in bad light.
