Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor are back on the big screen with another cracker of a dance drama – Street Dancer 3D. Directed by Remo D’Souza, the film is about an international dance battle that brings teams from India and Pakistan face to face for the title
Releasing nationwide yesterday, Street Dancer 3D received good reviews from the audience. Well choreographed dance sequences, emotional dialogue, Prabhudheva and Nora Fatehi’s moves and Varun and Shraddha’s chemistry, the audience took to the high entertainment quotient of the film. Flocking to the theatres in big numbers, Street Dancer opened to decent numbers at the box-office. Released over 3700 screens across the country, the film earned Rs. 10.26 crore on day one.
Yet below the predicted mark, Street Dancer 3D suffered at the ticket counter because of the continued frenzy around Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. But it is sure to see a rise during the weekend.
